Public Involvement

Involving and engaging the public throughout this evaluation process is vital to its success. The Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275/SR 93) PD&E and Transit Corridor Evaluation Study will provide many opportunities for the public to comment on the proposed improvements, including public meetings, small group meetings, and this project website (archived.fdotd7studies.com/hfbs). Project information and documents will be uploaded to the project website as they become available.

  • Public Hearing -The Public Hearing for the Howard Frankland Bridge (I-275/SR 93) PD&E Study and Regional Transit Corridor Evaluation was held on November 14th, 2017 at the Tampa Marriott Westshore and on November 16th, 2017 at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park.   • Public Hearing - A public hearing was held on October 8, 2013 and October 10, 2013.
  • Agency Stakeholder Meetings - On May 7, 2013 and May 9, 2013, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) hosted two agency stakeholder meetings.
